A Complete Unknown
Christmas Day is too busy with homelife and religious life for movies, but I’d love to see the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown which premieres the morning of Dec. 25.
My son and I are big fans, and as well, the movie just sounds like a tribute to icons of ‘60s cool, including Monica Barbaro playing Joan Baez.
And the central drama surrounds a famous folk and protest singer who shocked the audience at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival by picking up a Fender Stratocaster. In fact, the movie is based on a book called Dylan Goes Electric. The offending song was his classic, Like A Rolling Stone, which generated the movie’s title and in fact many other familiar one-liners.
And no, it was not a popular move, being met with boos at the event and thumbs down from folk fans for at least a year afterward…!!!
Crazy?
There must be some way outta here, said the joker to the thief………
